404 Magazine's niche is exploring the intersection of computers and poetry. And a lot has happened in that intersection in the last year — with the rise of generative AI like ChatGPT and Midjourney, robots are now creating poetry. In this issue, we push on that idea and try to figure out: is it good?
With multiple limericks, sonnets, diss tracks, and a few other hijinks, we're trying that out. Featuring a few illustrations from AI image generators like Midjourney and Adobe Firefly, too.
This issue is 28 pages, and measures at just about 4" by 5.25". Features a hand-assembled zine with a hand-stamped cover (with the create part outsourced to AI, of course)
4 quarter-page zines in a little envelope, maybe with a little sticker or extra treat.
